Hi VeryPDF,
I have been a satisfied user of PDF Password Remover v6 for a long time.
My PC details are:
Windows 11 Pro, fully updated
Gen 12 CPU, 32 GB RAM
I had to reinstall Windows a few months ago, and just tonight I tried to reinstall PDF Password Remover V6. Installation seemed to go well.
However, when I try to run PDF Password Remover I immediately get an error.
On investigation, immediately after installation, in Program Files (x86), winDecrypt.exe is present.
But as soon as I try to run PDF Password Remover, winDecrypt.exe is strangely removed.
(The last entry above (winDecrypt) is a shortcut to your home page).
In my opinion, the above shows why I get the message that winDecrypt.exe is missing when I double click on.
Please help me to get this software working. (The program is fully legal, i.e. paid-for) under my email address.
Regards,
Customer

Hi VeryPDF,
For security on my PC I run Malwarebytes (as well as Windows Defender; the two programs are designed to work together constructively).
Your suggested solution was a great help. I found that the problem was that Malwarebytes was removing winDecrypt.exe whenever PDFPWR called that exe. A simple exclusion within Malwarebytes fixed the issue.
Add Exclusion in Malwarebytes,
Add Exclusion in Windows Defender,
Thank you for being very quick with a reply.
