pdfcamp printer

We currently own an older version of pdfcamp pro. In it we have the ability to specify a save as location. I don’t see this option in 2.5. Is it no longer available or am I not looking in the correct location? Where can a find the option to save the document to a specific location in pdfcamp 2.5?

PDFcamp Printer x64 v2.5 does popup a Save As dialog when you print a document to it, you can't use it to set a folder for output.

However, we suggest you may download docPrint Pro v5.0 from our website to try,

after you installed docPrint Pro v5.0, please run following application,

"C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\psdriver\pdfconfiggui.exe"

I downloaded docPrint Pro v5.0 and have begun testing with our application that was using pdfcamp prior to Windows 7 upgrade. docPrint Pro is seem working. In our application we name the pdf file and then rename it. The initial name is saving in the directory but the rename is not happening. We believe the trial version popup box is preventing the rename. Is there a way that we can stop the popup box to complete our testing and ensure the product will function as we require?

We know the prior version of pdfcamp pro works we simply need to confirm the new version will function before we purchase.

docPrint v5.0 is the lite version of docPrint Pro v5.0, docPrint lite version hasn’t pdfconfiggui.exe application, so you can’t configure the output folder for docPrint PDF Driver, this function is included in docPrint Pro v5.0 only.

PDF Print

Getting an error when printing

2011/06/03

When running pdfprint.exe on a Windows XP system it is showing the following error on each print:

m_hWorkEvent is NULL! Error code: 2
m_hDieEvent is NULL! Error code: 2

The print comes out, but it seems like it's taking way too long to print.

It works fine on my Windows 7 system.

Can you offer any suggestions?

PDF Editor

Text Content not showing up in PDF Editor product

After I download a document to my workstation and then open it up on PDF editor, parts of the document don't show up. I am having to add new text boxes for a large portion of the document. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Also, when adding a text box, sometimes I don't get the option to add the font that I need. For example, I needed to add a line with Embedded Arial and I wasn't give the choice to add Arial.

We have checked your PDF file, this problem is caused by your PDF file, because your PDF file is contain wrong character encoding, so PDF Editor product will display wrong characters for text contents. However, you can simple skip the wrong contents in PDF Editor application, and add or edit comments directly, please look at following screenshots,

you can click “Edit Comment” button to add the comments first, click “Save As” button to save to PDF file,

When you can open the modified PDF file in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat, everything is fine,

So, you can simple ignore wrong or missed contents in PDF Editor, you can add the comments to your PDF pages directly.

Thanks for you help. That does work, however I need to save it in EMF format and Adobe won't let me do that. I have figured out how to add the text in PDF editor, but it is very time consuming so I was hoping there was an easier way to get it to show up.

Please use following solutions to use docPrint or convert your documents to other formats,

Solution 1: Print => docPrint => docPrint PDF Driver => Save To PDF, TIFF, JPEG, etc.

Please print your document to docPrint, then you will see a docPrint

Preview Window, please click "File->Print" menus, and select "docPrint

PDF Driver" printer, then please print your current document to "docPrint

PDF Driver" printer, you will get a "save as" dialog shortly, please

select "*.pdf" as output format, then you will get a high quality PDF

file, however, you can also save as to TIFF, JPEG, PS, EPS, etc. formats

easily.

Solution 2: Print => docPrint PDF Driver => Save To PDF, TIFF, JPEG, etc.

In your printing application (such as MS Word, MS Excel or others),

please print your document to docPrint PDF Driver directly, then you

will get a "save as" dialog, then you can output to PDF, TIFF, JPEG,

etc. formats.

Solution 3: Print => docPrint => Save As To PDF, TIFF, JPEG, etc.

In the docPrint Preview Window, please click "Save As" button, then

you can save the current document to raster PDF file directly, however,

you can also save as to TIFF, JPEG, BMP, WMF, EMF, etc. formats by

same method.

Please save your email contents to a MHTML file first, then you can run following command line to convert your MHTML file to PDF file correctly,

"C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\doc2pdf.exe" -i D:\temp4\test.mht -o D:\temp4\test.mht.pdf
