“Remove Metadata” option in Advanced PDF Tools

Dear customer support,

I have the following needs and which version of software should I buy from your store.

1. I want to convert security enabled pdf file to word doc file.
2. I want to change pdf's "properties" section (meta data file) such as time created, time modified, author created, general detail and other things associated with a given pdf file so that when the receiving party reviews the pdf file I send out after modification, they see my modified metadata, not the original.

Also I do have a question. If an expert in data profiling or computer savvy person opens up a pdf document that has been modified with your software, can he or she find out the trace of such modification done by using your software program?

You sent me the link to go and download pdf to word and it works now. But you didn't send me the download link for advanced tool. So I went to your website and downloaded it myself and registered using above key. However, I cannot seem to make changes on pdf file using your "advanced PDF tool" software. I opened a pdf file using your GUI interface, and I input and changed title, author, etc and saved it back. But when I open it up again, it shows the original version of "Properties" not changed ones. What is going on? Is there any phone number I can call to talk?

Please run Advanced PDF Tools GUI product, select "Remove Metadata" option in the "Optimize" tab, you will get everything work fine in Advanced PDF Tools GUI application.

docPrint Pro v5.0 can’t convert this PDF file to PNG file

Good Morning,
I'm writing this email to notify a problem found using docPrinter app.
I'm using it in command line mode, with this parameters string:

"-i " + <originalFileName> + " -o " + <convertedFileName> + " -r 150x150 -b 1 -g 1"

this is the log result:
C:\temp\BIL_0000000000230572_2010_12_31_01_00_00_rcaroti.pdf ==> C:\Users\mfaralli.IFIS\Desktop\h\BIL_0000000000230572_2010_12_31_01_00_00_rcaroti.png, Result Code = 0
Conversion time = 11.84s (11844ms)

I'm trying converting a PDF to PNG using the line on top, passing a PDF file of 3.10MB and 153 pages.
While converting i saw that doc2pdf.exe instance crash, after reaching the 300MB of memory in use.

Have you got any suggestion? Can the problem depends on -r (resolution) command or document pages?

I've also tried use User Interface program version but nothing changed, doc2pdf.exe crash.

My operative system is Win7 (32bit), but i tried with another OS but the same PDF give me the same error.
I'm using docPrint Pro v5.0 (Build Date: Oct  7 2009).

To whom it may concern,

 I want to know if VeryPDF Editor allows me to create a pdf question and answer form ,set it  on my web site page and other users can download, complete and return it by e-mail.

I'm evaluating to buy the product,

why, when I put the   -htm2pdf2   not working -delbreakpagetext -breakpagebytext "SartaAk"and their images do not appear, only appearing a lot "  !   "

in our evaluation tests, it seems that with this parameter sizes of pages work best, but we stopped that detail

our command line:

We download the product htmltools for evaluation and immediately proceed to purchase the same license.

Seen that with the parameter -htm2pdf2 the result with the page size (A4) is perfect and also the adobe reader opens correctly, but does not include the photos

In the command below the imagins appear correctly, however, does not open adobe reader and the page size is unstable.

You can use following command lines to convert your HTML file to PDF file correctly,

Command Line 1:

In your HTML file, please change from

src="file:.\Fotos\950102.jpg"

to

src=".\Fotos\950102.jpg"

then you can run following command line to convert JPEG images from your HTML file to PDF file correctly,

htmltools.exe -view -htm2pdf2 -playemf2 -pdfx -delbreakpagetext -breakpagebytext "SartaAk" "%CD%\TESTE.HTML" "%CD%\test99.pdf"
Command Line 2:

You can run following command line to convert your HTML file to PDF file at A4 paper size, all pages are all use A4 paper size, after conversion be finished completely, you can open output PDF file in Adobe Reader and view it correctly,

htmltools.exe -playemf2 -delbreakpagetext -breakpagebytext "SartaAk" -width 595 -height 842 -nocenter D:\temp4\TesteIn.html D:\temp4\TesteIn.html.pdf

Yes, -htm2pdf2 parameter is not compatible with -delbreakpagetext and -breakpagebytext parameters, if you wish use -delbreakpagetext and -breakpagebytext parameters, you can't use -htm2pdf2 parameter.

Yes, you can register htmltools.exe from command line,

htmltools.exe "-$" "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"

if you haven't administrator privilege in current user account, you can also run following command line to convert your HTML file to PDF file,

htmltools.exe "-$" "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" "http://www.google.com"  "C:\out.pdf"

After you registered the htmltools.exe application, the trial version of htmltools.exe will be changed to registered version automatically, then you can use it without any restrictions.

VeryPDF PCL Converter v2.0 – Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005)

Hello, I’m having some problems getting the pcltool.exe executable off the ground. The software was tested and confirmed working on other devices so I’m hoping you can help me determine what requirements are necessary to get the software to work.

Hardware: Xeon CPU 2.67 GHz, 3.0 GB RAM
Environment: OS – Windows 2003 R2 Standard SP2
VeryPDF – v2.0 Build Date: Feb 10, 2007
User permissions: Member of Local Administrators group

The problem is produced by running the pcltool.exe executable at the command line. For example:

Pcltool.exe “C:\Program Files\VeryPDF PCL Converter v2.0\examples\grid.pcl” grid.pdf

Causes the following event to be logged:

Event Type:      Information
Event Source:   Application Popup
Event Category:            None
Event ID:          26
Date:                6/6/2011
Time:                12:50:41 PM
User:                N/A
Computer:         CCHSMAESTRO
Description:
Application popup: pcltool.exe - Application Error : The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application.

There is no output created by the executable. Using the provided UI does not return an error message but also does not produce an output file.

Software has been installed and reinstalled.
Device has been rebooted after install without resolution to the problem.

Please turn off DEP for "C:\Program Files\VeryPDF PCL Converter v2.0\pcltool.exe" application to try again, please refer to following steps about how to turn off DEP in your system,

1. Click "Start"
2. Select "Control Panel"
3. Select "System"
4. Click the "Advanced" tab
5. In the "Performance" region select "Settings"
6. Click the "Data Execute" tab in the dialog box that opens
7. Select "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except for those I select"
8. Click "Add"
9. The open dialog box will open. Browse and select "C:\Program Files\VeryPDF PCL Converter v2.0\pcltool.exe" application in your computer,
10. Click "Open"
11. Click "Apply"
12. Click "Ok"
13. Reboot

OK, you can run "C:\Program Files\VeryPDF PCL Converter v2.0\pcltool.exe" without any problem now, please to try.
