How to print PDF to XPS by command line?

The command line application VeryPDF PDFPrint Command Line is an application which has the ability to print input document to virtual printer on your computer and the virtual printer is able to create the file format it supports. In this article, you will see how to print PDF to XPS document with this application.

At first, please free download VeryPDF PDFPrint Command Line and then unzip the zip file to local disk. In the unzipped file package, you can read the .txt document to see how to use this application and there is an executable file pdfprint.exe which is the called program for printing PDF document to XPS file.

Before printing PDF document to XPS file, pleas set the default printer at first. There is an virtual printer named as Microsoft XPS Document Writer in Printers and Faxes window. Please write click this printer and choose Set as default printer option in popup floating item.

In the commands, the option –printer is used to input the printer name. Then the input PDF document C:\input.pdf will be print to XPS document by the printer Microsoft XPS Document Writer in Printers and Faxes.

Or you can input the command example like the following one. When you run the commands, the saving window of the virtual printer will pop up and you need to choose the output location and input the file name for created XPS document.

pdfprint.exe C:input.pdf
