Convert scanned PDF file to editable Excel document

I was interested in the scan to excel ocr, but it did not work.  Perhaps I did something wrong.  Please call me so we can see if I made an error in my input.

I tried to copy the file and attach the minipdf application and my email said my gmail will not allow me to send this type of file as an attachment.  I don't understand why, but that is what it said???  Can you just send me the pdf excel ocr converter file to me that will actually work?  Also, will this program actually convert a grocery receipt into an excel spreadsheet that itemizes the items purchased. I have attached the file that I was trying to convert to an excel spreadsheet.. If not, then there is no need to spend time with this program for me because that is the only reason I need this program.  Please let me know.  Thank you for your quick response to me last night and for your future assistance in this matter.

pdfcamp printer

Pdfcamp does popup SaveAs dialog

I have a problem in batch output that at causes the pdfcamp printer revert to a “save” dialog, we are using pdfcamp v2.5 (x64) on a 64 bit windows server.

This problem is completely random, one run finish nicely the other ask on or more time’s where to save the file

the registry items that we set,

([HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\verypdf\pdfcamp])

AutomaticDirectory”=”\\server\VeryPDF\VeryPDF.Pdf”

AutomaticValue”=dword:00000002

AutomaticOutput”=dword:00000001

And in "C:\Program Files\docPrint Pro v5.0\config.ini" file, I have set,

EmptyFileNameAfterPrinting=0

===================================

Please don't print more documents to PDFcamp Printer Driver at same time, if you print your documents to PDFcamp Printer Driver one by one, PDFcamp Printer Driver will not popup SaveAs dialog at all.

also, you can try to use VeryPDF DocConverter COM product, DocConverter COM does use a queue to control print jobs, if you are using DocConverter COM product, you can call Doc2PDFCommandLine() function to deliver the conversion job to doc2pdf_service.exe application, doc2pdf_service.exe application will control the all conversion jobs one by one automatically.

We often need to print barcodes and we noticed that quality is not adequate to our needs

Good morning.
We are a software house and we would like to use command line to print PDF files.
Scenario is that our application run on Windows Server 2003 SP2 with UniPrint printer (UniPrint Server 7.0.3)  on Citrix environment and need to print via command line using UniPrint Printer with different paper size.

We downloaded trial version of PDFPrint Command Line v2.0 and made some tests.
It seems to work as we desire but there is a resolution issue. In fact, we often need to print bar codes and we noticed that quality is not adequate to our needs.

Is this because we are using the trial version and all would be resolved with the full version?

We are interested in purchasing PDFPrint only if you can guarantee that the print quality will be maintained as the original PDF file.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Sincerely,
==========================
Thanks for your message, please run following command lines to print your PDF file again,

pdfprint.exe -shell C:\test.pdf
pdfprint.exe -shell2 C:\test.pdf
pdfprint.exe -raster2 C:\test.pdf
pdfprint.exe -useembedfont C:\test.pdf

Can you print your PDF file with barcode properly with one of above command lines?

==========================
thank you for your response.
I had already used "-useembedfont" option and the fonts used are correct but the print quality is not good, it's as if all the characters are bold and this is not good for the bar code.
Using the command pdfprint.exe -shell C:\test.pdf and pdfprint.exe -shell2 C:\test.pdf the print is displayed properly but the quality is really bad.
With the command pdfprint.exe -raster2 C:\test.pdf you get the best results. Will test it as soon as possible with the physical printer, but this way the execution time increases significantly and we must assess whether it may affect server performance when you run a lot of prints.

In any case, the question is: with the full version of PDFPrint print quality is the same as the demo version?

Best regards,
==========================
Yes, the full version of PDFPrint print quality is the same as the demo version, I can confirm this matter.

PDFCamp Printer is slow when creating PDF Invoice

PDFcamp Printer v2.5 Developer License
Win7 64-bit & WinXP

I have an application that is printing multiple document ( one per account ) and it is only printing 8 per minute using the PDFCamp printer driver. I am monitoring the printer queue so that I do not start a new document until the old one finishes. If I do not monitor the queue and allow it to print to the spool as quickly as possible it will print 150 documents per minute.

The app to print to the PDF printer is a modification of another app that prints to a physical printer. The only difference between the apps is the steps to set the PDF name in the registry and to watch the queue. When I print the same set of accounts to a physical printer it will process 130 documents per minute.

This performance will be unacceptable for our customers, especially the larger ones that would take over three weeks to generate a document for each of their accounts.

Is there a way to improve the performance of this process?

We are not trying to convert exist document files to PDF files. We have an application that prints data from a database to a printer using a Handle to a Device Context (HDC) and Windows Graphic Device Interface (GDI) API.

The process consists of multiple DLLs that produce the report in different layouts, that are user selectable. We have two executables that handle feeding a batch of accounts to the report DLL one at a time. The original executable was designed to print to a standard physical printer. From the original executable's source code we created a second executable that includes additional code to handle the creation of PDF files.

Any solution needs to allow the original executable to continue to work as it always has. Ideally the changes would be limited to the new executable, but we can also make some changes in the report DLLs.

I will look over docPrint Pro 5 to see if it will meet our requirements.

Thanks for your message, you can download docPrint Pro v5.0 to try, if you think docPrint Pro v5.0 is work fine to you, please feel free to let us know, we will exchange your PDFcamp Printer Driver to docPrint Pro v5.0 to you shortly.

pdf password remover

Call pdfdecrypt.exe from Windows Service

Hello,

We have a problem with your VeryPDF - PDF Password Remover tool.

The version is 3.1 I think.

We are running it on Win7 Professional, on a 6-core machine.

We occasionally get a message displayed, see attached PDF file.  Sorry about the scan being upside down.  The OS seems to think the software is not really compatible as noted on the last line of the message.  Ignore the hand written info.

A client sends up to 40,000 pdf files that are bank statements, which I will be imaging and mailing.  The formatting tools we use to do this do not support password protected PDF files,  which is what we use your tool to fix.  We are calling the program from another program that is running as a service on the machine.  The command we are passing looks like this and both C and P drives are local to the machine:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\PDF Password Remover v3.1\pdfdecrypt.exe" -i p:\STMT\CU1_STMT\SEP\pdfs\Batch01\ -l p:\STMT\CU1_STMT\SEP\remove_password.log

image

We await your thoughts.
============================
You can't call pdfdecrypt.exe from a service directly, you need run it from an interactive user account instead of local system user account, please notice this matter.
