With the help of PDF Editor, you can edit PDF Author easily only by three steps. This article aims at showing you how to do this work and you can get some useful information about the application you use.
Actually, PDF Editor acts as three roles. The first role is editor which can edit the contents and add comments for the input PDF document. The second role of PDF Editor is document converter which can be used to convert many kinds of file formats to PDF document or convert PDF document to various image formats. The third role is to act as a PDF viewer which can read PDF document and resize, zoom or scroll page size.
So for using PDF Editor, please download it at https://www.verypdf.com/pdf-editor/pdfeditor_setup.exe and install it on your computer. When you succeed in installing the application, you will be allowed to use it for editing PDF Author. There are four steps for you to do this work.
The first step—Open the application
It is easy to open PDF Editor. If you have created a desktop icon for the application, please double click it on your desktop. Or you can right click the icon and click “Open” option in dropdown list. On the contrary, please click “Start”—“All Programs”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor v2.6”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor” to open the application.
The second step—Input PDF document
It is necessary to add PDF document to PDF Editor. There is a dialog box titled as “Open” in which you are able to choose the document you want to convert and add it to PDF Editor. For opening this dialog box, you can click “File”—“Open” or click “Open” button in the toolbar. The shortcut key “Ctrl”+ “O” will also do you a favor.
The third step—Edit PDF Author
In the user interface of PDF Editor, please click “File”—“Document Properties” or use the keyboard shortcuts “Ctrl”+ “D” to open “Document Properties” dialog box. Please see it in Figure 1.
In the navigation pane of this dialog box, please click “Description” option and you will see the basic information of the input PDF document on the right such as its file path, size, page size, created and modified date and time, etc. For editing PDF Author, please input the author in “Author” text box and click “OK” button. Then the current dialog box will close and the one you see is the user interface of PDF Editor again. Please click “Save” button in toolbar or click “File”—“Save” to save the changes.
The last step—Create new PDF document
Just click “File”—“Save as” or use the hot key “Shift”+ “Ctrl”+ “S” to open “Save as” dialog box in which you can choose the output location for target file in “Save in” dropdown list, input the output name in “File name” edit box, specify the output format as “PDF File (*.pdf)” in “Save as type” dropdown list and click “OK” button to create new document.
