Convert Office files to PDF files on 64bit Windows System by Doc Converter COM

I am trying to get the VeryPDF Doc Converter COM working but from what I am now reading, it only works on 64 bit if we also buy the document printer?

Thanks for leaving a message for us.
Could you please be more specific in your question then we can have a check for you?And Doc Converter COM can work both of 32-bit and 64-bit.
During the using, if you have any question, please contact us as soon as possible.

Thank you for your reply – I am trying to get the Doc Converter COM working on a windows 2008 R2 server and have followed the steps described in your guide, downloading and installing PDFcamp Printer Pro and then DocConverter COM

when I try the PHP example, I get the saveas dialog rather than the document being automatically saved in the relevant location.

I found two different articles

but was not sure how to make this work as they suggest different things and the articles are quite old.

I also wasn’t sure why the VeryPDF HTML to Any Converter Command Line product (which I did get working) was more expensive than the doc converter com which seems to have more functionality? We are initially looking just to convert webpages to PDF via the command line but in time it might be good to have the additional functionality these different things offer.

Can you offer any assistance in getting the trial working?

Thanks for your message, if you just wish to convert from DOC files to PDF files, we suggest you may download "VeryDOC DOC to Any Converter" from following web page to try, "VeryDOC DOC to Any Converter" is needn't depend on virtual printer, so it is more stable than "PDFcamp Printer + DocConverter COM" products,

"PDFcamp Printer + DocConverter COM" products have 32bit and 64bit versions, 32bit version can not be used on 64bit system, "PDFcamp Printer x64 v3.0" is support both 32bit and 64bit systems.

also, if you wish use "PDFcamp Printer + DocConverter COM" on 64bit system, you need change the printer name of "PDFcamp Printer" to "PDFcamp Printer Driver", if so, the Save As dialog will disappear when you call DocConverter COM interface.

"VeryDOC DOC to Any Converter" product is support both 32bit and 64bit systems, if your system has MS Office 2007 or MS Office 2010 installed, "VeryDOC DOC to Any Converter" product will able to convert Office documents to PDF files without depend on virtual printers, if your system has MS Office 2003 installed, "VeryDOC DOC to Any Converter" product will install necessary printers automatically, so it can be used easier than "PDFcamp Printer + DocConverter COM" or "PDFcamp Printer v3.0 x64 + DocConverter COM" products.
