https://www.verypdf.com/app/ocr-to-any-converter-cmd/index.html

I'm facing issue while installing ocr2any SDK, "Unspecified error".

Error coming while running ocr2anyCom.exe /regserver on Win 2019 Server.

It's already register using MMC comexp.msc /32 in DConfig still showing error.

You need run a CMD window with administrator privilege, and run in this CMD window, you will able to register it correctly,

ocr2anyCom.exe /regserver

ocr2anyCom.exe is a 32bit file, you can enable 32bit applications and it will fix this problem for you.

For example, you can try to change "Enable 32-bit Applications" to "true". Or, on your project, right-click, and in the properties menu, change the "platform target" to "Any CPU".

VeryPDF PCL to PDF Conversion cut last two characters by right margin limit

I am using the following command to convert my PCL file to PDF file on Linux system,

/pcl2any/pcl2any2 -i f.tmptxt002.pcl -o /tmp/pdf389.pdf

The PCL file contains the following command at the start of the file,
\233\E\233\9\233\(8u\233\(s12H\233\(s12V\233\&a0L\233\&a99M\233\&l0E\233\&k2G

the rest of the file is just text.

the converted file (/tmp/pdf389.pdf) does not contain the last two characters on each line (the 97th & 98th).

How do I get those last two colums to print.

I can send both of those files but I don't see how to attach them to this ticket.

Thanks for your message, you may use A3 paper size to try again, for example,

./pcl2any2 -paper a3 -i test.pcl -o out.pdf

We hope A3 paper size will work better for you, please give it a try.

pdf split-merge

How to extract odd pages from PDF file and save to a new PDF file?

I have been a very happy user of VeryPDF and using the command line but now I have another need to take a PDF and extract the odd pages into a single document. I know there is the ability to do this from command line but the format for my special hotfolder I created does needs me to have spaces between parameters. Long story short. it looks like I can purchase PDF Toolbox Command line and accomplish this but with the demo download I cannot figure out how to do it. I have a EvenOdd.pdf and I want to extract only the odd pages to ODD.pdf. Can you give me the command line for it?

https://www.verypdf.com/app/pdf-split-merge/index.html

Hi I think I figured this out. In my case our hotfoldering program puts spaces between parameters. The solution was to create a batch file and so instead of our program trying to directly drive VeryPDF 3.0 we call a batch file and the syntax is compatible with our program. So call batch and then pass command line values each separated in by space which makes it compatible with batch file requirement.
in essence we open batch file call VeryPDF space output directory\#n#x (this is our programs variable for file name and extension.)

image

The batch file has this command path to pdfpg.exe %1,odd %2

The %1 and %2 come from our hotfolder manager as document name and output directory.

To much information but I think I got it now.

thanks even though I solved myself.

Use PHP Folder Watcher and PCLTool.exe Command Line software to monitor a folder for PCL to PDF Conversion

Hello,

I tested the demo version of PCL to PDF Converter GUI software.

1. I can't find any options for the file system watcher to set parameters like available on the command line, like merging another pdf and/or setting page size to A4
2. pctool has all options, but there I miss a setting that the pcl print is merged OVER the pdf, a scanned white paper in pdf results in an empty output file.

Thanks for your message, please find the answers at below,

>>1. I can't find any options for the file system watcher to set parameters like available on the command line, like merging another pdf and/or setting page size to A4

The file system watcher doesn't support these parameters, if you wish to use more parameters in file system watcher, we suggest you may use "PHP Folder Watcher" + PCLTool.exe Command Line to finish these functions.

PHP Folder Watcher can be purchased from this web page,

https://veryutils.com/php-folder-watcher

>>2. pctool has all options, but there I miss a setting that the pcl print is merged OVER the pdf, a scanned white paper in pdf results in an empty output file.

You can use -template parameters to place PCL overlay or underlay the PDF pages,

-template <string>         : Overlay template PDF file on all pages
-templatefirst <string>    : Overlay template PDF file on page #1
-templatefollowing <string>: Overlay template PDF file on page #2,#3,...,#end
-templateatbottom          : Set template PDF page at bottom

You may run following command lines to try,

   pcltool.exe -templatefirst temp1.pdf -templatefollowing temp2.pdf test.pcl test.pdf
   pcltool.exe -templatefirst temp1.png -templatefollowing temp2.png test.pcl test.pdf
   pcltool.exe -templatefirst temp1.tif -templatefollowing temp2.tif test.pcl test.pdf
   pcltool.exe -templatefirst transparent1.png -templatefollowing transparent2.png test.pcl test.pdf
   pcltool.exe -template temp.pdf test.pcl test.pdf
   pcltool.exe -templateatbottom -template temp.pdf test.pcl test.pdf

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have question on this.
