How to convert MS Office Word documents of doc to xbm?

Three steps are required in the conversion of doc to xbm.

1. Run the printer driver.

If docPrint is the default printer on your computer, you can find the Word document and right click the document icon and choose “Print” option to directly run docPrint. If not, you should open the Word document and click “File”—“Print” to open “Print” dialog box in which you can choose “docPrint” as current printer in “Name” combo box and click “OK” button to close the current dialog box. The hot key “Ctrl”+ “P” is also available.

2. Open “Save As” dialog box.

Please see Figure1. It is “docPrint” dialog box in which there are some function icons in the toolbar and a small dialog box on the right. If you don’t want to add parameters to the target file, you just need to open “Save As” dialog box. Three methods are given below.

  • Click “File”—“Save as”.
  • Click the “Save file” icon which looks like a floppy disk in the toolbar.
  • Use the hot key “Ctrl”+ “S”.

3. Save the target file.

In “Save As” dialog box showed in Figure2, you should follow four operations listed below to save the target file and run the conversion of doc to xbm.

  • Please choose the directory for the target file in “Save in” combo box.
  • You can edit the name for the target file in “File name” edit box.
  • In “Save as type” combo box, you should choose the file type for the output file.
  • Then click “Save” button to save all the changes and run the conversion.

The conversion will come to the end several seconds later and you can browse the target file in the specified location. As you see, the conversion process is easy enough with some clicks.
