Some image in word docs did not get converted to pdf file

Hi,

I am a long time doc2pdf users. The program works great until recently I tried to convert a word document to pdf using the command line. I was surprised to find out that some of the icon images in the word document did not get converted to pdf file. Please advise.

Attached is the zip file with word document and converted pdf file for your reference. The docs2pdf program used to work fine until recently the word doc contains quite a few image icons which caused the conversion problems.

We noticed these images are not full embedded into Word document, these images are just external links, would you please embed these image files into Word document first, and then use doc2pdf.exe to convert the new Word document to PDF file again? if so, you will able to convert all images to PDF file properly.

I resolved the image conversion problems by converting html to pdf directly without going to word document step. Now I have the need to add page number to pdf file when converting html file to pdf file.

Please advise.

Thanks for your message, you can use "&p of &P" options to set the page numbers to resultant PDF file, for example,

"C:\Program Files (x86)\docPrint Pro v8.0\doc2pdf.exe" -s "htmlheader=&p of &P" -s "htmlfooter=&p of &P" -i https://www.verypdf.com -o D:\downloads\out.pdf

Making your own header and footer information

A slew of simple ampersand codes let you add your own custom headers and footers. For a custom header or footer in Internet Explorer 8, click on one of the drop-down menus under Headers and Footers in the Page Setup dialog box, and then click Custom. In the Custom dialog box, type your own text along with these codes:

Window title – &w
Page address (URL) – &u
Date in short format (as specified by Regional and Language Options in Control Panel) – &d
Date in long format (as specified by Regional and Language Options in Control Panel) – &D
Time (as specified by Regional and Language Options in Control Panel) – &t
Time in 24-hour format – &T
Current page number – &p
Total number of pages – &P
Right-aligned text (following &b) – &b
Centered text (between &B&B) – &b&b
A single ampersand (&) – &&
