Convert documents of HTML to PDF and set page size by command line

  • Open MS-DOS interface

Please open MS-DOS interface by clicking “Start”—“Run” or using the hot key “Window”+ “R” to open “Run” dialog box and inputting “cmd” in “Open” combo box. Then please click “OK” button. Then you will see MS-DOS interface come out on the screen.

  • Input the command line

The command line to be inputted in MS-DOS interface is the combination of called program which is the executable file doc2pdf.exe, parameter for setting page size, source file which is the html document and target file which is the pdf document. The following command line sample is an explanation.

doc2pdf -f 8  -i “www.verypdf.com” –o C:\file.pdf

In the command line, -f 8 is for setting the page size as standard. In the command line, you should use the paths of each file and you should not forget the options “-i” and “-o” before the source file path and target file path.

  • Run the conversion

The last step in the conversion from html to pdf is to run the conversion by clicking “Enter” button on the keyboard and you just need to wait for several seconds until the conversion is over.
