Convert RTF to PDF and set page size

The command line application Metafile to PDF Converter Command Line can be used to convert the metafile to PDF documents such as converting rtf to pdf documents. You just need to input the command line into the MS-DOS interface for converting rtf to pdf and setting page size. Before that, please open MS-DOS interface.

Step1. You can use one of the following given ways to open MS-DOS interface. The first one is clicking “Start”—“Run” to open “Run” dialog box in which you need to input “cmd” in “Open” combo box and click “OK” button. The second one is using the hot key “Window”+ “R” combination to open “Run” dialog box.

Step2. In the opened MS-DOS interface, please input the command line. Called program, parameter for setting page size, source file and target file make up the whole command line just like the following one which is a simple sample.

emf2pdf.exe -width 500 -height 800 C:\IN.rtf C:\OUT.pdf

In the sample, emf2pdf.exe stands for the called program, -width 500 -height 800 stands for the page size, C:\IN.rtf stands for the source file and C:\OUT.pdf stands for the target file.

For your better understanding the sample, you need to see the following example and you should know that you need to use the path of each file in the command line.

"C:\Program Files\image2pdf_emf2pdf_cmd3.2\emf2pdf.exe" - width 500 -height 700 "D:\IN.rtf" "D:\OUT.pdf"

"C:\Program Files\image2pdf_emf2pdf_cmd3.2\emf2pdf.exe" is the path of emf2pdf.exe.

- width 500 -height 700 indicates that you set page width as 500 pixel and page height as 700 pixel.

"D:\IN.rtf" is the path of source file.

"D:\OUT.pdf" is the path of target file and you should specify it yourself.

At last, please click “Enter” button for running the conversion from rtf to pdf.
