We are evaluating VeryPDF Cloud API Platform Cloud Based PDF Conversion, Encryption, Watermarking technologies for our use

Hi,

We are evaluating several cloud based PDF Conversion, Encryption, Watermarking technologies for our use. Please see the questions identified below. Can you kindly respond to the questions so that we can understand your platform better:

1. 1. Do you use Native Apps such as MS Word, Excel, PPT to do the conversion to assure 100% fidelity when converted to PDF?

2. 2. If my source docs (word, excel, etc.) are in Spanish or German besides English, will your conversion work? If yes, is this conversion still done using the native apps as the underlying converter?

3. 3. How do you secure my content on your servers?

4. 4. If we want to submit for conversion, receive the conversion output and delete the content on your servers, is this possible?

5. 5. If the size of the file to convert is approximately in the range of 2 MB to 20 MB with average size being less than 5MB, what conversion speed should we expect?

6. 6. Do you have a full list of file formats that you can convert into PDF? For any file format other than supported by Word or Excel, how does the conversion take place? What kind of quality of conversion can we expect?

7. 7. Is water marking requirements possible to be sent via API so that the converted PDF will include required water markings. If different documents to convert will require water markings, can the conversion configuration handle this?

8. 8. Is text replacement features in the document handled after PDF conversion or before PDF conversion? For example, we need to add Document Number, Revision, Title, Dates, etc. to the document.

9. 9 Is it possible to insert pre-defined Digital Signatures onto the converted PDF in specified locations so that the document when viewed shows that it has been signed.

10. 10. . Do you support security features such as "Print Controls, Copy Controls, Save Controls, etc." as part of the PDF conversion? Can this be controlled per document when converted?

11. 11. Can you share your overall cloud deployment architecture as we need this for our security package review?

12. 12. Where is your cloud infrastructure hosted?

13. 13. How many customers do you have using the cloud infrastructure?

14. 14. If we run into issues, how does your support process work?

Look forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks
Customer
