With the help of PDF Editor which is a powerful application designed for doing with pdf document, you can easily add pdf polyline. Only four steps will be enough and you can get a perfect pdf document with polyline in it at last. So please read the following contents.
Please download the free trial version of PDF Editor at www.verypdf.com/pdf-editor/pdfeditor_setup.exe for you to experience. Please install it on your computer via following the installation wizard. If you have had PDF Editor on your computer, you will be able to do the following work. At first, please open the application. You can click “Start”—“All Programs”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor v2.6”—“VeryPDF PDF Editor” to open the application. Or you can double click the application icon or right click the icon and choose “Open” option in dropdown list.
Then please open pdf document in PDF Editor. In the main window of PDF Editor, please click “Open” button in the toolbar or click “File”—“Open” to open “Open” dialog box in which you can select pdf document. If you want to use the hot key, please click “Ctrl”+ “O” combination on your keyboard at the same time.
Now you will be able to add pdf polyline into the inputted document. Please click “Tools”—“Edit content” or click “Edit Content” button in the toolbar. Then click “Tools”—“Comment”—“Draw”—“Polyline” or click “Add Polyline” button in the content toolbar.
Move the cursor to the place you want to draw the line. Left-click the mouse and drag it to anyplace you like, and then there appears a line along with the cursor path. Pause your finger and change the moving direction to create an open shape with multiple segments. Double-click the cursor or click Esc key on the keyboard to exit drawing, or else the cursor always drags the line to anyplace it moves. Please see the polyline in Figure 1.

When you right click the polyline, you can choose to cut, delete, copy it. When you click “Properties” option in the floating item, the dialog box “Content Editor-polyline” will come out, in which you can set color, width, relocate the polyline according to your needs. Then please click “Save” button in toolbar or click “File”—“Save” to save the changes you have made. Please create a new pdf document by clicking “File”—“Save as” to open “Save as” dialog box in which you can set the output path and input the name for the new document.
