Convert documents of HTML to BMP by command line

When you see some useful or interesting information in some html document, you may want to save them as some kind of image format, such as BMP image format. The first step—Open MS-DOS interface.

You should open MS-DOS interface for inputting the command line in it. Please click “Start”—“Run” to open “Run” dialog box. Then please input “cmd” or “CMD” in “Open” combo box of the dialog box and click “OK” button. You can also press “Window”+ “R” to open “Run” dialog box.

The second step—Input the command line.

This is the most important step in the conversion of html to bmp. The command line you should input into MS-DOS interface is consisted of called program—doc2pdf.exe, source file—input html document and target file—output BMP image. You can see the following command line example.

doc2pdf –i “http://www.verypdf.com/artprint/index.html” –o C:\output.bmp

In the command line

  • doc2pdf is the called program and you should use the file path of it when you write your own commands.
  • –i “http://www.verypdf.com/artprint/index.htmlstands for the link of some html document. If you want to convert the location html to bmp image, you should change the link as the path of the document.
  • –o C:\output.bmp is the name of target file.

The last step—Run the conversion

You can run the conversion from html to bmp by clicking “Enter” button. If you want to check your target file when the conversion is over, just open the specified location and browse the output image with some kind of image viewer installed on your computer.
