How to convert PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, MSG, EML formats to HTML files?

Hello,

I have tested various command line solutions to view PDF as HTML and VeryPDF result is looking very good.

We sell desktop-based solutions on Windows and Mac as well as an upcoming web version so obviously we are interested in previewing PDF documents inside a web control so the questions are:

1. Do you have a C-based API where we can pass the source file, the target file and the options or is it only a command line solution that works across platforms?

2. What licensing do we need since we develop software but at the moment only plan to release a preview inside our software ?

Best regards,
Customer

Hello,

Thank you for your detailed answer.

After testing pdf2html, I’ve also tested VeryDOC doc2any command line and it looks like the two products interest us (although the Outlook .MSG format doesn’t seem to be supported).

So do I have to buy 2 separate developer licenses to get all Office and PDF files support ?

How much would that be?

Thanks,
Customer

Yes, you need purchase two products to convert all office files and PDF files to HTML files. You can use doc2any Command Line to convert office files to PDF files first, and then use PDF2HTML Command Line to convert PDF files to HTML files.

btw, our docPrint Pro v6.0 does convert MSG files to PDF files, please refer to following web pages for more information,
