Why the Parameter “-webkit” is Designed?
WebKit is a layout engine designed to allow web browsers to render web pages. And this technology now is used by Safari, Chrome and Opera. The parameter “-webkit” enables the Webkit engine to convert HTML and web pages to PDF files fast and accurately. The principle of this parameter is that it will make the Webkit engine to convert HTML and Web page to PDF or images directly. For some computers where no IE or Firefox browser is installed, this parameter is a solution. When you convert HTML file with some specail characters, please add this paramter which can help you to render the HTML correctly.
Why the Parameter “-multipagetif” is Designed?
In the 2.6 version, the software cannot convert any webpage to a multipage TIFF file. Now in the HTML Converter Command Line v3.0, it comes true. The latest version enables you to convert webpages to single-page TIFF files and multi-page TIFF files.
Why the Parameter “- fitpage” is Designed?
In the 2.6 version, the software cannot convert webpages to PDF based on the specified PDF page size. The new version solves this problem. Say if you specify the page height is 792, the output PDF file can fit the height automatically. Thanks to this parameter, the whole webpage can be converted into output file without cutting parge margins anymore.
